Neighborhood Watch Meeting
2024
The Neighborhood Watch Meeting held April 24th, 2024 at the Strawberry Square Clubhouse was hosted by a few Strawberry Residents and was a great success!

55 residents were in attendance and a wealth of information was presented by the San Jose Police Department.

For those of you who were unable to attend, a synopsis of the information given at the meeting has been put together for you. You can find this as well as some informational flyers linked here on the website labeled Neighborhood Watch Meeting 2024.

It was wonderful to see a group of Strawberry Square Residents take the time to learn how to help make Strawberry Square an even safer community to live in.

As a result of this meeting several residents are organizing a potluck gathering to build community going forward. This will be held June 15th, 2024 between 4PM and 7Pm in the grassy open area in phase 1 over by Japonica.

A New Policy is in place when renting the clubhouse. Please contact Strawberry Management if you have any questions about this new policy.

Certificate of Insurance Requirement for Clubhouse Rental.  A Certificate of insurance must be submitted to the HOA office at least seven days in advance of a member's reservation date. The Certificate must list the Association as an Additional Insured on the member’s policy and stating the name of the event/party, the date, and the time frame of the event. Failure to timely provide the Certificate of Insurance with the required information may result in the forfeiture of the rental reservation and loss of the member’s deposit. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a member shall not be required to obtain and provide proof of liability insurance if the Clubhouse rental is for assembly for political purposes as outlined in subsections (1), (2,) and (3) of Civil Code Section 4515(b)


To reserve the clubhouse please submit a request form 6-8 weeks before your event date or email 
[email protected] You can also check the events calendar before making your request to see if the clubhouse is available.

                    
Bounce Houses in common area is NOT allowed. The liability is too high and Strawberry Squares Insurance Costs would be sky high.
Please respect this policy and refrain from putting bounce houses in the common areas of Strawberry Square.

Short-term renting (i.e. Air BnB type) is not allowed at Strawberry Square

Strawberry Square is a lush park-like setting on 33 acres of abundant trees, flowering shrubs, and lawn areas. Our 350 attached town homes were originally built in between 1971 and 1976, in several floor plans of two-, three-, and four-bedrooms. Residents enjoy such amenities as a clubhouse, two tennis courts, a swimming pool, and five playgrounds.

Strawberry Square is home to a diverse community of young professionals, families, and seniors. Owner occupation is about 75%. We are located in the Cupertino Union School District and the Fremont Union High School District which are state and nationally recognized for excellence. We are also located within 2.5 miles of the new Apple Park Visitor Center
