Architectural Control Improvement Application

This application needs to be filled out for any improvements to the outside of the unit, patio or driveway (what others can see from the "common area".) Ex. Outside A/C units, pergolas/patio covers, carport covers, outside doors, windows, Satellite Dishes, Solar Panels, etc.

All fields must be filled in, write in None or N/A if it does not apply. For any attachments, upload the files herein or send an email with the attachments to [email protected]

You do not need to fill out an application for "inside" work done inside your home, however, you do need the appropriate San Jose City Permit(s) for either improvement inside or outside your unit.

Once your application is submitted the application is then passed on to the architectural control committee.
*Please note: The architectural control committee has up to 6 weeks to approve/deny and ask any more pertinent information.

Whatever work you do that affects the outside painting must be painted back to the SSHOA paint colors. Click here for the Current Paint Colors of the resident buildings within SSHOA.
